How it works
- Sediment Reduction: Tap water passes through a polypropylene meltblown sediment cartridge to reduce heavy dirt and sediment to help prevent premature plugging of the twin carbon blocks that reduce contaminants.
- Contaminant Reduction: Water continues through a set of twin carbon blocks with lead reduction media. This block reduces chlorine taste & odor, lead, cysts, atrazine, lindane and sediment.
- Enhanced Reduction Capabilities: Finally. the water goes through the second carbon block with enhanced reduction capabilities for volatile organic compounds. Both systems reduce these contaminants while leaving healthy minerals in the water provided through the side faucet.
